I am here for all things awkward and different. I am here for the weirdos and the underdogs. I am here for the pro-black movements and all the people fighting for us. I am here for the hippies and the witches. I am here for the loners and the black sheep. I am here for the scene kids and the trendsetters. I am here for the sage burners and spiritual healers. I am here for the energy balancers and crystal wearers. I am here for the yoginis and those who meditate. I am here for the independent artists and the ones who march to the beat of their own drum. I am here for the pop-up shops and the sacred spaces. I am here for the bright, bold colors and for all-black everything. I am here for the black and brown women breaking barriers and the black and brown men who defy stereotypes. I am here for the joyous black boys and the magical black girls. I am here for the movers, the shakers, the risk takers, and the ground breakers. I am here, for you.

  • It was a pleasure working with Andréa. I was initially nervous but she created a supportive environment and made me feel comfortable in front of the camera. She maintained a positive demeanor and interactions throughout the session were friendly and fun. Though she had her own vision, Andréa was open to my ideas and the finished product was excellent. I would definitely work with her again.

Whether it's capturing the perfect candid moments at events or executing your vision in a photoshoot, Andréa delivers excellent work.

  • When it came down to catching my good side, you perfected that. Working with you was easy, as if we've done this before. You knew exactly what you wanted to capture, you directed the shoot well. The pictures spoke for themselves. Anyone can see I was very comfortable and definitely "Feeling it"! I can't thank you enough!

  • Andréa Mychelle has photographed various events as well as personal portraits for me and I have always been impressed with her eye. She has captured the ambiance of staged performances and has brought a magical element to something as simple as a subway ride. The way she balances light and her unique ability to capture any skin tone, without the whitewashing often present in videography and photography, makes her irreplaceable.
